Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) is development of hypergonadotropic hypogonadism before the age of 40 years, which presents with symptoms like menopause. POI is a spectrum disorder with impaired ovarian function and with variable degree of symptoms including menstrual irregularities- oligomenorrhea or amenorrhoea, symptoms of oestrogen deficiency and gonadotrophins in menopausal range in women less than 40 years of age. This session will focus on evaluation and management of POI.
